Today’s weather is pretty sketchy for lots of venues tonight. Make sure to check the weather and pick players based on not only performance, but weather will play a HUGE factor in you getting paid or not.

***UPDATE: Weather alerts for SEA @ NYY, PIT @ BAL, NYM @ PHI****

P- Yordano Ventura $8,000- Kansas City’s rookie phenom has had a great start to his season. In 4 starts, he has 2 wins, 27 strikeouts, and a 1.80 ERA. He was knocked around by the Twins two starts ago but bounced back last time out against Baltimore and went 8 strong innings with 8 strikeouts and a win for 20 FP. I can see him dominating the Blue Jays tonight.

P- Aaron Harang $6,600- His price still hasn’t risen to what it should be considering how great Harang has played. In 5 starts, Harang has 3 wins, 33 strikeouts and a 0.85 ERA. The only explanation is that he has found the fountain of youth. He’s facing the Marlins tonight who he faced last week and struck out 11 in 6 innings for 16 FP. The Marlins are proven to be better at home, but Harang handled them easily last time out and should repeat that tonight.

Other Notable Pitchers: Tony Cingrani- $8,300, Tim Hudson- $6,900

C- Miguel Montero $3,500- Montero has now posted 10 straight games with positive FP. He’s facing Jordan Lyles tonight and Montero seems to thrive off him. He is 5 for 8 with 2 doubles off Lyles and he’s a cheaper option tonight. Plug him in and rest-assured for positive FP.

C- Carlos Ruiz $3,600- He’s a little more expensive than Montero ($100 more) but he’s facing the overweight Bartolo Colon. Colon is struggling this season with a 4.50 ERA, giving up 38 hits to his 26 Ks. If Ruiz plays tonight, he could be the reason Colon gets knocked out early.

Other Notable Catchers: Brian McCann- $3,500, A.J. Pierzynski- $3,300

1B- Joey Votto $4,000- Joey Votto seems to know how to get on base. He also seems to love facing Cubs pitching (who doesn’t?). Tonight he’s facing Edwin Jackson who has a 5.02 ERA. Against Jackson, Votto is 7 for 18 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 2 HRs. He will almost guaranteed get you FP tonight.

Other Notable First Basemen: Nick Swisher- $2,900, Mike Napoli- $3,600

OF- Michael Bourn $3,300- The Bourn Identity has been red-hot as of late. He’s facing C.J. Wilson tonight and he loves facing him. Bourn is 7 for 17 with 2 doubles, a triple, and 2 stolen bases. He’s a little cheaper option in the outfield and will help us round out our team.
