Our pitcher didn’t have the best overall night, but with Josh Donaldson going bananas with 2 HRs it totally made up for it. This was our 2nd best night we’ve had in this short MLB season but it’s going to be a fun season! Tonight should be just as good with so many great matchups.

SUGGESTIONS FOR 4/25/14:

P- Zack Wheeler $6,700- In 4 starts, Wheeler has 1 win with a 4.63 ERA. The stats aren’t something that might make you think Wheeler is a ring for a win tonight, but he’s facing the Marlins who are being their usual selves and have managed only 1 win out of 9 games on the road this season.

P- Jesse Chavez $5,500- His price for the amount of production this kid has so far is startling. In 4 starts, Chavez is sporting a 1.38 ERA. He’s facing the awful Astros again tonight. Chavez’s last start came against this same team where he went 6 innings, striking out 6 with a win and 15 FP. Chavez has gotten 15 FP in his last 3 starts and I don’t see why he can’t do it again tonight.

1B- Miguel Cabrera $4,600- His price is steadily rising as it should be. He’s starting to catch fire and hitting the ball well, unfortunately most of his hits are at people. This is why his stats are so-so. As of now, Miggy only has 2 HRs and 13 RBI. He’s facing Minnesota Twins pitcher Kevin Correia who Miggy is 11 for 28 with 2 doubles, a HR, 8 RBI and a .393 BA. I would assume most cash games will feature Cabrera tonight.

2B- Chase Utley $4,100- He is priced as the most expensive second basemen for good reason. He’s playing at Arizona in a dome and facing Josh Collmenter.  Utley is 3 for 4  with a double and 2 walks. He’s expensive but a must in cash games.

OF- Melky Cabrera $3,900- He’s facing Jake Peavy at home in a dome and is 5 for 11 and a .455 BA. Against RHP this year, Cabrera has 5 doubles, a triple, 3 HRs and 5 RBI. His price is steep, but depending on the pitcher you use, he could provide a bump.

1B- Jose Abreu $4,200- Abreu is the stud the White Sox thought he was when they signed him. He’s facing Chris Archer who has been a very streaky pitcher. Against RHP, Abreu has 6 doubles, a triple, 4 HR, and 16 RBI. He’s a little cheaper than Miggy but is also having a better season.

OF- Alfonso Soriano $3,700- Soriano has been heating up his last 5 games. He’s been one  of the hottest hitters since last trade deadline. Giraridi will keep finding a spot for him and tonight he faces C.J. Wilson who is sporting a 4.21 ERA. Soriano hits the ball well against lefties and 15 mph wind to left could spell a great game from Sori tonight.
